Add Lock to the Tuya Smart App // Configuration
Instructions for SMARTLOCK configuration:
- ADD SMARTLOCK IN YOUR APP.
- CONFIGURE SMARTLOOK
1- Select the SMARTLOCK device in the TUYA SMART APP.
2- Access the SETTINGS section.
3- Remote unlocking, always enabled.
4- Automatic locking.
5- Automatic locking delay time.
6- Direction of rotation of the lock.
7- Clockwise unlocking // Counterclockwise unlocking.
- INVITE OTHER MEMBERS
1- Member management.
2- Other members.
3- Click on the + sign
4- Add members.
5- Effective period to manage the lock.
6- Set period of validity (temporary or permanent).
7- Unlock with cell phone (enable).
8- Name of the member.
9- Save.
Once we finish filling in these data, the created user/member will appear.
10- Access the user/member created.
11- Click on edit.
12- Unblock with cell phone (enable).
13- Save.
14- Share
15- Write the email address of the user/member we want to share.
16- Verify the email.
17- We can see that the email with the user/member appears.
Important: When sharing the device to other users/members who are not "FAMILY MEMBERS", the device will automatically appear in the YOUR APP. No invitation will arrive.
- INVITE FAMILY MEMBERS
1- Manage members.
2- Click on the + sign
3- Add members.
4- Name of the user/family member.
5- Email of the user/family member.
6- Role of the user/family member.
7- Select the role (administrator or ordinary).
8- Save.
9- The invitation will be sent to the family member in the TUYA APP, once accepted we can verify that the new family member appears.
IMPORTANT:
Bluetooth: Only 1 user at a time can manage the lock via Bluetooth.
Example: If there are 2 mobiles with the APP in the house, only the mobile1 that has Bluetooth enabled paired with the devices can manage the lock.
For the other person or mobile2 to manage the lock from the APP, mobile1 has to disable the bluetooth and so it would be available for mobile2 to link.
